This RIBBED SKORT runs true to size with built in biker shorts and with the intention of it fitting form fitting around the waist. If your daughter normally needs more room in the waist/hips/thighs we would recommend sizing UP. If your daughter normally has a more thin waist/hips we would recommend not sizing up and ordering the size she is normally in if you would like it to fit like you see on our models.
